The MarrIage (nikāḥ) Sermon of the Bridegroom SAW of the Lord’s kingdom

These are the words of an ardent lover and sacrificing devotee of the Noble
Prophet , the King of Ethiopia (Najāshī or Negus). It is his sermon
which I recited before commencing the talk. When did he recite this?
When conducting the marriage ceremony of Umm Ḥabība  to the
Noble Prophet . When the Prophet  learned that Umm
Ḥabība’s  husband had become an apostate and had died in that
state, he proposed to her. When Najāshī (Negus) recited the nikāḥ sermon,
he recited it with these words.
Thereafter he gave Umm Ḥabība  to the Prophet 
in marriage saying these words, “I give the Noble Prophet  in
marriage to Umm Ḥabība.”

“The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.”

The Prophet (peace be upon him)
