Umm Ḥabība’s nikāḥ to the Noble Prophet was solemnised

of the Noble Prophet . He gave her a large amount of gold as a gift.
Umm Ḥabība herself says, “When I received the gold, out of happiness
firstly I sent, as a gift, fifty mithqāl (a weight) of gold to the slave girl who

was the one who had brought me the good news of the Prophet’s
proposal.” Umm Ḥabība relates that she sent her fifty mithqāl of

remain. We have been unable to perform iʿtikāf of the entire blessed month;
however, the last ten days are about to start. May Allāh give us the ability
to fulfil this sunna (of iʿtikāf) and give us the ability to follow the Prophet’s
exemplary personality by keeping our attention and sight fixed
on him every second, every minute and every moment.
