O Muʿādh! Do You Sleep While the prophet SAW Is Inside the Soil?

Special arrangements are made by Allāh for certain people. Muʿādh 
was young but he was very dear to the Prophet . When the Prophet
 was bidding Muʿādh  farewell as he sent him to Yemen,
Muʿādh  wanted to dismount from his ride (as a sign of respect), but
the Prophet  did not allow him to do so and told him to remain
mounted. He then informed him, “This will be our last meeting and when
you will return I will have left for the Next World and you will find me in
my grave.” Hearing this, Muʿādh  began to cry profusely.
(Later on) Muʿādh ibn Jabal  narrates, “Once whilst I was asleep in
Yemen, I dreamt someone was saying to me, ‘یا معاذ اتنام – O Muʿādh! Are you
sleeping comfortably – ورسول الله بین اطباق التراب – while the Prophet  is
inside the soil in his grave?” He narrates, “I awoke and got up due to fear, but
then I fell asleep once more and I saw the same thing again.” However, this
time he could not sleep, but instead he continuously wept profusely and
immediately prepared to travel, and set off towards Madīna. He narrates
وا محمداه وا محمداه“ :that on his journey to Madīna, the only thing on his lips was
– O Muḥammad! O Muḥammad!” He was convinced about (the true nature
of) his dream and about the Prophet’s  prophecy as he was about
to leave for Yemen that, “There will come a time (O Muʿādh!) when you
will be in Yemen and I will leave this world.” He relates that while reciting
I began to increase the speed of my ride. As I approached ,”وا محمداه وا محمداه“
کل نفس ذائقة الموت“ ,Madīna, I heard someone saying to me from a distance
(Every soul will taste death [3:185]).” I looked in all four directions and
noticed in front of me a traveller (Companion) coming (towards me) and
reciting: کل نفس ذائقة الموت for my sake, and he exclaimed as I approached him,
O Muʿādh! The Prophet  has left this worldly – فارق رسول الله الدنیا“
abode.” When he heard this, خر مغشیا علیه – he fell unconscious. He could not
control himself; how could he?
